Dear Mr. Obama:

When I first saw you I knew we had found new hope. You professed ideals I could believe in, you said you were for change. I thought you were different, different from the established politicians I have grown to hate. Now I see you making compromises, I see you drifting into the company of organizations that make me wonder. Faith based efforts need encouragement, not federal funding. We still have a separation of church and state don't we? There were some details that were sketchy from that meeting you had with the evangelicals… what is this about allowing them to use faith as a factor in hiring? Then there is your support for corporate immunity in the FISA bill. You said you would fight it and now you capitulate to the Bush regime and support all they wanted. Hey, the Democratic leadership was bought and paid for by the telecoms companies, that is why they changed their vote. How many dollars did you take? I'm very disappointed. Sure, I'll support you, because you are now the lesser of two evils. You deserve that title because you are betraying those who got you the nomination and gave you the resources to beat Hillary. You went from someone I could believe in to someone who might not betray us too much. When you take that oath of office and place your hand on the Bible, think before you say you'll support and defend the Constitution of the United States, think hard. Remember back to when you voted to re-authorize FISA and domestic spying. Then remember who believed in you. You have started to become just another politician who can't be trusted. Flip flop…flip flop….

It seems that I get a new surprise from Obama each day. First he now tends to move to the center politically, he courts the evangelicals, and now is supporting faith-based initiatives in social services with the rumor being that these faith-based groups would also be allowed to hire and fire based on their religious tenets. 

He's changing before our eyes and sometimes I wonder if change is good. Listen up Barak, are you going to be the leader we heard during the primary or have you sold your soul to the establishment?

Arianna Huffington has it right….. so you better think Barak…

No morning drama. A nice commute. Still have a bunch of stuff I need to do.

There appears that a problem may exist among the supporters of Obama.
While we whole heartedly support Obama, we don't want to contribute to
paying off the huge ($10 million) debt that Hillary generated while
tearing down Obama.

I know it supposed to be all goodness and light, that we have unity, but
frankly I've been getting the wrong signals from the Obama camp. Hillary
and Bill are millionaires, many times over. They lent their campaign
millions of their own money. That money was spent to defeat Obama. They
failed, so I expect them to eat those losses.

I will forego any more donations till I am assured that the funds I
donate will be used exclusively for the general election campaign and
not to pay off Hillary's debt.
